Welcome to Trade and Investment Queensland's online grant application service, powered by SmartyGrants.
Thank you for your interest in applying for a grant under the Go Global Export Program 2022.
To view the Program Guidelines and Application Guide, and to help you become pre-qualified by your TIQ Trade Advisor, go to https://www.tiq.qld.gov.au/goglobal
Queries about the guidelines, deadlines, or questions in the form can be directed to your TIQ Trade Advisor or to GoGlobal@tiq.qld.gov.au quoting your submission number.
Please ensure you save your work as you go.
If you need more help using this form, download the Smartygrants Help Guide for Applicants or check out Smartygrants Applicant Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ's)
On every screen (page of the form) you will find a Form Navigation contents box, this links directly to every page of the application. Click the link to jump directly to the page you want.
You can also click 'next page' or 'previous page' on the top or bottom of each page to move forward or backward through the application.
If you wish to leave a partially completed application, press 'save and close' and log out. When you log back in and click on the 'My Submissions' link at the top of the screen, you will find a list of any applications you have started or submitted. You can reopen your draft application and start where you left off.
You can also download any application, whether draft or completed, as a PDF. Click on the 'Download PDF' button located at the bottom of the last page of the application form.
If you are not a current TIQ Client, or have not dealt with TIQ previously, you will need to complete the TIQ contact form before you can complete and submit your grant application. Please save your application on Smartygrants as a draft before accessing the TIQ contact form.
To complete the TIQ contact form, go to: https://www.tiq.qld.gov.au/connect/contact-us/
Applicants also need to provide evidence of contact with a TIQ Trade Advisor to be pre-qualified as:
Please note that NO contact with a TIQ Trade Advisor for pre-qualification means that you are not yet eligible to apply to the Go Global Export Program and your application will not be progressed until this requirement is sufficiently addressed.
Please contact your local Trade Advisor at https://www.tiq.qld.gov.au/connect/about-us/regional-advisors/ or contact TIQ head office via https://www.tiq.qld.gov.au/connect/contact-us
Once you have completed the contact form on the TIQ website and contacted your Trade Advisor, you will need to return to your saved draft application in the Smartygrants portal, navigate to the front page and select the Yes response to the question ‘Have you contacted a TIQ Trade Advisor prior to starting this Application Form?’
Doing this opens the rest of the application form for completion. You can now attach your supporting evidence that you have contacted a TIQ Trade Advisor.
Failing to select the Yes option on page one of your application locks the application form on page one so no further sections of the form can be completed. Note that if you click the ‘submit’ link on page two at this stage, the incomplete application will be submitted, which will be ineligible for assessment. Should this occur, you will need to email TIQ (grantsmanagement@tiq.qld.gov.au) to reopen your application so it can be completed.
You will need to upload/submit attachments to support your application. There are four documents required in order to complete your application:
This is a simple process, but requires you to have the documents saved on your computer, or on a storage device.
You need to allow enough time for each file to upload before trying to attach another file. Files can be up to 25MB each; however, we do recommend trying to keep files to a maximum of 5MB – the larger the file, the longer the upload time.
You will find a Review and Submit button at the bottom of the Navigation Panel. You need to review your application before you can submit it.
Once you have reviewed your application you can submit it by clicking on 'Submit' at the top or bottom of the screen or on the navigation panel. You will not be able to submit your application until all the compulsory questions are completed and there are no validation errors.
Once you have submitted your application, no further editing or uploading of support materials is possible.
When you submit your application, you will receive a confirmation email with a copy of your submitted application attached. This will be sent to the email you used to register.
If you do not receive a confirmation of submission email then you should presume that your submission has NOT been submitted.
Hint: also check the email hasn’t landed in your spam or junk email folder.
A number of people can work on an application using the same log in details as long as only one person is working at a time. Ensure you save as you go.
Most internet browsers (including Firefox v2.0 and above; Safari; and Google Chrome) have spell checking facilities built in – you can switch this function on or off by adjusting your browser settings.
